Tip 1: "Easy to structure - never forget"
After importing, you can add additional information to your document. This is not mandatory, because docomondo will find your document even without this information thanks to full text search. Learn now how additional data points can help you structure your document.

Here an example: Activate the corresponding data point for tax-relevant documents. By doing so, you will be able to find all the documents you need for your tax return with just one click (see tip 2 "Stop searching, start finding“).

Or let docomondo remind you of important deadlines by setting a date in the "Reminder" datapoint. No more need to pile up invoices on the kitchen table and check them regularly for due dates. docomondo will remind you in advance.

Tip 2: "Stop searching, start finding" - with saved filters
It' s March and we are looking forward to filling out our tax return as every year! Good news: with docomondo it's easier than ever (if tip 1 "Easy to structure - never forget" is followed)!

Create individual search filters using words, tags and/or data points and save them on your home screen. Example: Go to search, select "Filter" & activate the field "Tax relevant". Set the date filter "This year" and save this search filter as "Taxes 2020". All documents which are tax relevant & meet the time criteria 2020 will now be grouped automatically (including new ones which are added later). Conclusion: With just a few clicks you have all the documents for your tax return at hand.

You can create as many search filters as you like. One for "Insurance", one for your "Car", and so on.

Tip 3: “Structure as you like - apply tags”
You can assign an individual "tag" (label) to your document during the filing process. This allows you to create an individual document structure. Once you have assigned a Tag to the document, it will appear on your home screen. By clicking on the Tag, you will find all the documents that have been tagged accordingly. No matching Tag available? No problem! Create your own Tags that meet your needs.

Tip 4: "Bye-bye, folder structure - Hello, full text search"
For some people it may be unusual not to use folder structures for their document storage anymore.

In the digital docomondo world, your document is made readable by means of modern OCR software. You want to find it quickly again? No problem, thanks to our full text search.

For example, type "salary" into the search field and any document containing the word "salary" will appear on your screen in seconds.

So why do we still need folder structures? Thanks to our full-text search, tedious and time-consuming filing and browsing of your folders is a thing of the past (see also tip 5 "Stack your originals - find them again in no time").

Tip 5: "Stack your originals - find them again in no time"
You will want to keep some of the documents as originals - only very few people throw away their rental contract just like that. Thanks to our Ease-Away-Filing-System time-consuming sorting and filing is a thing of the past!

We assign a serial number to each imported document. Write this number on the top right of the document. Then stack it in a good old paper folder or in a shoe box, always in the order of the serial number.

You want to find your rental agreement in the original? Use the full text search to find the digital document in docomondo. Memorize the serial number and use it to find the desired document in the paper stack in seconds!

Goodbye "filing, arranging and searching" - hello "leisure"!
